A Feather's Wisdom

 Light as a Feather

When the weight of the world feels too much to bear,

Pause for a moment—breathe in the air.

Whisper softly, “This load isn’t mine,”

And let your thoughts drift, like leaves on a line.

Speak to yourself with words that heal,

“I release this burden; I choose to feel.”

Feel joy in the ordinary, wonder in the small,

Life’s hidden beauty is the greatest gift of all.

Marvel at sunlight that dances on trees,

At the song of a bird, carried by the breeze.

Laugh at the little things, let your heart play,

Be curious—what magic will visit today?

Say to yourself, “I’m light as a feather,

My spirit unbroken, no matter the weather.”

In stillness, in motion, let joy take the lead,

For light-hearted living is all that you need.

Hold not to sorrow, nor cling to despair,

There’s freedom in knowing the light’s always there.

Speak kindness within, let grace be your guide,

And find in each moment the joy you can’t hide.

Life is a marvel, a dance, a refrain,

A treasure that’s waiting beyond any pain.

Let go of the heaviness, step into the light,

For the human spirit was born for flight.

Light as a feather, your heart will rise,

Free as the wind beneath open skies.

So laugh, so wonder, so sing, so play—

And carry this mantra with you each day.

A Feather’s Wisdom

There is a lightness we’ve all forgotten,

A feather’s wisdom, soft and unbroken.

It whispers gently, “Come and see,

The world is heavy, but you don’t have to be.”

Talk to yourself like an old, dear friend:

“Rest awhile; not all wounds must mend.”

“Breathe in the quiet, let the worry go,”

And trust there’s beauty you don’t yet know.

Watch the clouds as they slowly shift,

Feel the breeze and the way it lifts.

Even the earth, so solid and still,

Holds laughter in rivers, and joy in hills.

Marvel at the small, the simple, the near—

The glint of sunlight, a song in your ear.

Let your heart wander like children at play,

Finding wonder in the cracks of the day.

Tell yourself softly, “This is enough,

The world may be hard, but my spirit is tough.”

Smile at your shadow, laugh at the sky,

Dance with the absurd, let your soul fly.

For what is life if not a tender gift,

A chance to rise, to love, to lift?

Speak this truth when your path feels dim:

“My heart is light, and joy lives within.”

And so, let the feather guide your way,

Light-hearted and free, come what may.

No burden too great, no sorrow too wide—

The human spirit will always abide.
