Whispers of the Earth!

Whispers of the Earth

I journeyed far to find the trees,

Where nature whispered on the breeze,

In Belize, where roots ran deep,

The earth had secrets it would keep.

The mahogany stood tall with grace,

Replanted in its rightful place,

Among the greens, the life, the flow,

Where every seed was free to grow.

The land spoke softly, truth untold,

Of balance, cycles, ancient, bold,

Permaculture’s dance of life,

No longer bound by toil or strife.

I learned the moon could guide my hands,

That stars could bless the fertile lands,

In cosmic rhythms, soil reborn,

As day breaks light from every dawn.

Now every garden that I tend,

Is part of something without end,

A harmony of breath and seed,

Of sacred earth and sacred need.

For in the soil, there lies the key,

To honor all that’s wild and free,

We plant today, but look ahead,

Where future roots and life are fed.

This poem reflects the interconnectedness of nature and the wisdom you’ve embraced in your gardening and ecofarming journey.
