The Bible as Psychological Allegory: The Teachings of Neville Goddard, Joseph Murphy, and Abdullah the Black Mystic

The Bible as Psychological Allegory: The Teachings of Neville Goddard, Joseph Murphy, and Abdullah the Black Mystic In the 20th century, a quiet yet powerful spiritual revolution unfolded through the teachings of three mystics: Neville Goddard , Dr. Joseph Murphy , and the enigmatic Abdullah the Black Mystic from Ethiopia . Their message? That the Bible is not a historical account , but a psychological and spiritual manual — a symbolic narrative reflecting the inner journey of the soul . Beyond History: A Metaphysical Interpretation To these teachers, the Bible is not a record of ancient events or external people. Instead, it is a drama of the human psyche , revealing universal truths about how consciousness shapes reality. “The Bible is a psychological drama. It deals with the unfolding of the human soul.” — Neville Goddard “The Bible is a psychological book. It deals with the laws of the mind and how to apply spiritual principles for success.” — Dr. Joseph Murphy ...

U.S. Travel Ban Expansion Poised to Impact Africa’s Tourism and Diplomatic Ties

U.S. Travel Ban Expansion Poised to Impact Africa’s Tourism and Diplomatic Ties June 2025 The recent expansion of the U.S. travel ban is sending shockwaves across Africa’s tourism and diplomatic sectors. A newly proposed policy may extend full or partial entry bans to citizens of up to 25 African nations, sparking concern among governments, business leaders, and civil society groups throughout the continent. What the Ban Entails Contrary to common misunderstanding, the ban does not prevent American citizens from traveling to the targeted African countries. Rather, it restricts citizens of those countries from entering the United States. This expansion builds on previous travel restrictions and is part of the U.S. administration’s efforts to tighten national security protocols and vetting procedures. The expanded list includes 25 of the 36 African countries under review, which face the threat of being placed under either a full travel ban—prohibiting all forms of entry into the U....

Ai derangement

Someone sent me this about ai. I didn't even know how to respond.   Let‘s say u & some others are right about ai not being able to develop a consciousness because it is just a machine. A concern is that the more intelligent form of ai could malfunction with catastrophic results for humanity. Hence, if a certain type of ai is given the power to ultimately run the world combined with a significant amount of information, a more complex type of ai could malfunction leading it to the false conclusion that humanity should be eliminated as the machine could view itself as being far more superior to humans. I‘m not speaking of the chat gpt type of ai.                  By the way, it was proposed that ai should make important descisions for humanity. However, some intelligent & powerful human beings said, “hell no” to the idea of a machine controlling humanity & its destiny.

Honoring the Past, Healing the Present: The Tribute to Our Ancestors at Coney Island Each summer, on the shores of Coney Island, a deeply moving and sacred event takes place: the Tribute to Our Ancestors of the Middle Passage. This powerful ceremony draws together people of African descent and allies from all walks of life to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives of those lost during the transatlantic slave trade. It’s a ceremony rooted in reverence, community, and the resilience of a people who survived the unimaginable. And at the heart of this legacy is the visionary work of Dr. Mary Umolu, a beloved educator, cultural leader, and the event’s founder. The Birth of a Tradition: Dr. Mary Umolu's Vision The Tribute began in 1989, born from a powerful moment of reflection and purpose. During the National Association of Black Storytellers Conference held at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, a group of educators, elders, and cultural workers gathered to discuss the need for a spiri...
